Frequently Asked Questions
When does your group meet?
Our MOPS group meets on the first and third Fridays of each month from September to May. Our meetings begin at 9:00 am and end by 11:30 am. Due to the holiday season, we will not meet the third Friday of December or the first Friday of January.
Where does your group meet?
Our MOPS meetings take place in the Community Room at East 91st Street Christian Church. The church is located on 91st Street, just west of Sahm Park, between Allisonville and Masters Roads.
Can I visit your group before I join?
To arrange for a visit to our group, please contact Lyn Fencl, coordinator, at 317-257-2434. Although we love to have visitors, we must check to make sure we have room for extra children in our MOPPETS program prior to making arrangements. Thanks for your cooperation!
Do I have to be a member of E91 to join MOPS?
Absolutely not! Our group is open to women throughout our community. In fact, the majority of our group members do not attend E91. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mother of preschoolers. Although MOPS is founded on Christian principles, we value the dignity of each human life and of each individual mother of preschoolers, no matter where she has been, what she has done or how she is choosing to live her life today, embracing both believers and nonbelievers and all ethnic and socioeconomic groups.
