MOPPETS

What is MOPPETS?

During MOPS meetings, children are cared for in a program called MOPPETS, where they experience love in a preschool-like setting.

The main goal of our MOPPETS program is to provide children with a loving, nurturing environment that demonstrates and teaches them about the love of Jesus Christ, while their moms have an opportunity to be inspired and refreshed by the message provided in the MOPS meeting. This may be a child's first experience away from his mother in a preschool setting, so we make it our goal to provide a wonderful, joyous experience for both mom and child.

The children are divided into age groups and are involved in planned activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment. Games, stories, crafts, and play enhance their physical and creative development.

Benefits of MOPPETS

MOPPETS is about...

  • Social growth through group activities and play

  • Spiritual growth through Bible stories and values relevant to their lives

  • Physical, emotional, and creative development through crafts, games, snacks, and songs

Children under age two will be cared for in nursery classes divided according to teacher-child ratio and developmental levels. Two to five year olds will participate in storytelling, crafts, music, snack time, outdoor and indoor free play.

Our MOPPETS teachers are carefully interviewed and have undergone criminal background checks before they are hired.

Volunteering in MOPPETS

In order to keep our semester fees as low as possible, we would love to hear from anyone willing to volunteer to work in our MOPPETS program! Please download our MOPPETS Worker Application and contact Kelly Mason at 317-457-0312 or by email at info@e91mops.org for more information or to set up an interview.
